As I illustrated in my Thanksgiving post last year, I am pretty obsessed with Thanksgiving stuffing. I’ve already made two batches this year for various Friendsgiving celebrations, but I haven’t posted those because they’re the exact same as last year. But I didn’t want to let Thanksgiving, king of food holidays, to go by without commenting. So, if you’re interested in making something for turkey day this year, feel free to use one of the following suggestions:

Mushroom Risotto

This would make an excellent Fall-flavored side dish.

Need a good appetizer or post-Thanksgiving brunch option? Cure your own salmon, it’s super easy!

Roasted Vegetables with Red Wine Sauce

Simple roasted vegetables are a great option as a side, but you can add some fancy it up and add richness with a quick red wine sauce.

Stuffing with Sausage and Chicken Liver

Obviously.

Tomato Paella

A simple and beautiful dish that can make your rice impressive.

Pimento Cheese

A delicious appetizer, and no one needs to know how easy it is!

Marinated Pork Tenderloin

There are quite a few reasons why people don’t make turkey on Thanksgiving. I don’t want to hear them, but you can’t go wrong if you make this instead.

Chipotle Sweet Potato Soup

Fancy enough to do a whole soup course? This would be a good option!

Hopefully these recipes are helpful, and please feel free to ask me any questions you might have on Twitter!

Happy Thanksgiving!
