I saw this recipe in the New York Times and thought, “Hey, maybe I’ll do granola instead of cereal this week.” So, I didn’t buy cereal at the grocery store on Sunday, then I didn’t make any granola. After eating a couple of spoonfuls of peanut butter for breakfast on Monday, I had kind of forced my own hand and had to actually make this stuff that night. So… here’s the granola.

For breakfast, I’ll mix it with some vanilla yogurt and fruit, and it’s actually awesome. Way better than plain cereal. I had some mixed dried grains and slivered almonds, so that’s all I used, but if you look at the recipe linked above, you’ll see that there are ton of different options. I followed the recipe pretty much exactly, so if you want to make this, you should check it out as well.
